Our new of the week is "Rainbows in the Sky" - details are below. "Orchid" Winners are now posted! Please congratulate the winners. "Daybreak" winners will be posted soon. The grand prize winner will win a copy of "Night and Day" by group owner Sherrie Hansen.

To our new members: It used to be that each week, I would choose a color or color combination and ask people to enter original photos, artwork, photo essays, or poems that best represented that color or colors. Winners in each category were then chosen - also each week - based on beauty, originality and creativity.

Lately, my life has been so crazy that I've been lucky to get winners chosen and a new theme announced once a month. Please be patient! The whole process is very time consuming! I will send out a group email soon to let you know what the new color is and to announce the winners of the rainbow theme.

For the time being, you may still post rainbow photos or a series of 5 - 6 photos of a common theme, once photo in each color of the rainbow.

I hope eventually to get back on track with more frequent color changes. Welcome to the group,
